Hiram Hall, a once famous Country & Western saloon, located in Rexford, Kansas, is going to be boarded up unless proprietor Jo Carlson can raise enough money to keep the Hiram afloat. She is on the hunt for a sure-fire, money-makin’ hit to attract a large audience and keep the bank at bay. She thinks she’s hired a trio of lady singers, “The Cowgirl Trio” a group of classical musicians on a reunion tour, whose preferred stringed-instrument is the violin, NOT the fiddle. Can Jo transform these fish-out-of-water ladies into a country-singing group in one afternoon? Waitresses Mickey and Mo, along with owner Jo, join their considerable talents side by side with the displaced group. Fate must have brought these women together, and they pull out all the stops with classical vs. country. It’s a sure thing when Jo proudly presents to the public “The Cowgirl Trio”, and you can bet your bottom dollar that it raises the roof and saves Hiram Hall.
